How good is my daughters artwork?
Hi. Our 13 yr old daughter has a real passion for art, particularly sketching in the areas of Japanese anime art. She has an amazing imagination for her drawings. I wondered if I can get some honest opinions on here of her work. Her drawings can be found on my Yahoo 360 site under “Sophie’s artwork”. This is only a select few.
I think she has a real talent but the question is how much for a 13 yr old really as the ones I have seen of this age group are not so good (or perhaps I am biased, lol!).
Anyway, I would love for her work to be recognised somewhere but where and at 13 she is a little too young?
Here art is very well done. Good proportion 
I don’t think you are biased, I think she’ got a good eye and now would be a good time to start her in some lessons to help develop her talent. Just make sure the lessons don’t become like work and make her love drawing less. It’s something I’ve seen happen
Recognition is less important than what you’re doing right now which is encouraging and appreciating her talents.
