Does anyone know the program used to adapt photos? EG: Black&white photo of baby with a duck but….?
Example: Black and white photo, of a baby holding a rubber ducky. Everything else is black and white except the duck which is bright yellow. i have adobe photoshop and illustrator, just not sure whether its the right thing for it. your help would be appreciated!
It is simple in PS.
open original in color and make a duplicate layer of the same image. desaturate the top image to BW. Use the eraser to erase the BW ie the ducky that you want in color and the real color will show through. Be steady and you will do a good job.
If you are starting with BW image only you do it different ly… you create a blank layer over the copy of the original. The with the brush you paint in the color on the emplty layer. when finished blend in “multiply” mode.
