ARTWORK graphite and painting what do you think?
would a degree in studio art be beneficial if I have a talent?
I do have a talent. but the problem is that I can only draw pencil drawings “white and black” because I don’t know how to use colors lol.
so I’m wondering if I major in art will I be succesful after that? and will I make enough money to live?
its ok i am currently a freshman at the University of the Arts and right now all you do is basic stuff like perspective shading in Black And White Drawing straight lines over and over again so if you don’t know how to use color its ok they teach you all that stuff your freshman year. for example there are kids in my class that are going for film but have to take studio classes that can’t even draw so if all you can do is black and white its ok they will help you and teach you as for money i can just tell you this athe Art field is a hard one you can always be an art teacher and make money thats always a garentee. you have to remember there are alot of fields when it comes to the arts, illustration, animation, photograhy, film, print making, book arts, art director, art education, graphic design, sculpture. so try to find what you want to pursue do research and see what schools have to offer like internships and other things like that i know im only a freshman in college but i had alot of expierce i talked to my guidence counslor, art teacher, i did research and thats all you have to do good luck and even if you don’t go with a career in the art you can always find spare time to draw and try to sell your work
