What is a good cartoon/comic drawing program?
I want to start using my computer to draw comics/cartoons, however, I’m having problems finding good software that doesn’t cost about a thousand bucks to purchase. I’m looking to do something that looks semi-manga in appearance. I’ve tried Inkscape already, but I’m having difficulty finding useful tutorials for drawing characters and that.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Hopefully something free/open source, or at least affordable to a college student.
Manga studio is not very expensive and it is aimed toward making graphicnovels. Corel painteris like photoshop,… but more….painterly. Great for inking and coloring.
Gimp, paint.net and artweaver are good, and free.
