David Aim Music Lovers Donate To Haiti Victims

Various artists have raised more than thirty-five pounds for those who were victimized by the earthquake that occurred in Haiti. They are, namely, Rihanna, Madonna, Shakira, and Sting. The star-studded telethon they called Hope for Haiti has beaten the records of previous events of the same nature. Although this event was featuring different stars and artists, regular people were also involved, such as charitable man, David Aim.

The aforementioned artists, together with those who have donated their share, have raised these funds and donated them to charities such as UNICEF, Partners in Health, Oxfam, and other earthquake relief organizations.

Moreover, the NGO stakeholders of the telethon will also get profits from the sales of the performances of the artists on iTunes and other digital music sources. Those who are interested can simply download different tracks, like Bono’s song with Rihanna, Justin Timberlake’s remake of the famous song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, and songs by the Edge and Jay-Z.

Many enjoyed and benefited from what the telethon had to offer. They merely had to download their favorite songs and they were already doing their part for charity work for the victims of the dreadful Haiti earthquake. David Aim states that it is like hitting two birds with one stone. They get what they want with their desired song, and also help those who are in need through their donations.

More than one hundred stars actually participated in this telethon for the Haiti victims. It was broadcast on YouTube, MTV UK, and other big US networks. It looks like the Hope for Haiti will continuously be accepting a lot of donations from music lovers and charitable people for the next six months. David Aim is one of those who have donated a lot by downloading a lot of hits from iTunes.

Dean Guitars Artist Interview – David Vincent (Morbid Angel)

Was David Carradin really a martial artist or just an actor?

David Carradin, the start of “Kung Fu, the Legend Continues” Did he ever really train in martial arts, what belt did he get to?
Thanks!!

Blackbelt magazine did an interview with him several years ago that I thought was pretty good and in it they asked him that question. He told them that he was originally just an actor when he got the role in Kung-fu and would mimic the moves that they showed him before each episode during the filming. He developed an interest in Yoga after hurting his back in some movie to help with his therapy. That sparked an interest in martial arts for him that he did not have or fully appreciate when he was playing the role of a half Chinese monk. He developed an interest in the body-mind concept and some of what martial arts embodies and was especially interested in Gi gong and Reiki and more-so those aspects along with Yoga which he continued to do for some time to help his back injury.
