I am a translator for the sport of dressage in Spain. I have the word "Serreton" I need to translate into enlish. I guess it refers to the strap located around the horse's mouth. Lungeing (or "longeing) caveson. And yes, you do the basics, especially longeing with this piece of equipment. It allows maximum control by leverage, and without interference by a rope as the rope being drawn the attention of horses on the opposite side in this work. EDIT: FYI is pronounced "jing My caveson"
