JMW Turner – Turner and the Romance of Britain – Part 4 of 8

Artists that paint journeys/landmarks?

For my GCSE Art project I have to research artists relating to the theme of my project. For my project I need to research artists who relate to the the topic of journeys (however artists who’s subject is landmarks would also be useful). Does anyone know of any good artists which I could research? So far I have researched Robert Delaunay and JMW Turner.
Artists who paint cityscapes of London would fit particularly well with my project.

What about John Constable? I know he’s thought of mainly as a painter of nature, landscapes and his famous skies, but I do think there’s a feeling of journey in many of his paintings. And as far as landmarks, his watercolor of Stonehenge comes to mind.
