How would I go about painting an old bench?
I purchased an old antique bench made out of wood. It is a dark red color and this is my first time painting furniture. I would like to paint it a light green color. I don’t want to paint over the red but I don’t know how to strip the paint off. Any ideas?
No need to strip. Sand until reasonably smooth, prime, and paint. Use interior paint for inside, or exterior paint for outside.
