Copyright help!?

I’m a photographer. I was wondering if an invisable ink pen or something of that sort is avail. to be written on portraits but not seen visable to the eye, but will show up if people try to scan them?
Or if I can find stickers to place on the back of the portraits that will show through if they try to scan them.

Other than the professional trademark at the back of the prints or the logo…people who scan stuff at home just don’t care about the respect or copyrights the photographer has.

Any help will be much appreciated!! Thanks in advance :)
This is actually for physical prints not web based. I want people to buy the prints from me, not buy 1 or 2 images buy it in an 8×10 then go out and make their own home copys.

I’m a professional fine artist and have encountered this many times. There is not to my knowledge any physical thing that can be done to prevent print scanning. Having your logo on the front of the image in an area slightly into part of it helps. That way they cant really crop it out without losing part of the picture. Then it will will be obvious if they illegally copy it. I make sure to give people a notice form in layman’s terms about copyright laws. Most people are ignorant of the difference between a published print and the image itself. They think if they purchase a copy of it they bought the rights to make copies. Provide a notice explaining that, and the fact that it is a federal law ( it helps to provide the code #’s) good luck.
