What pen can i use to color my drawings of anime?
i’ve used watercolor and color pencils to color my drawings. i want to try using illustration markers the next time. can anyone suggest a brand or something?
Copic markers are highly recommended by manga artists, however, they are also extremely expensive.
Prismacolor markers look really nice, but they are not cheap, except when compared to Copic. . .
Faber-Castell art pens look fine as well, though I think the color range looks somewhat limited.
Blick markers from Dick Blick are cheaper than most, and are bound to be good quality.
I suggest you go to a good art store in the area and check prices and color ranges and try out a smallish set to see if you like that brand. Most of the brands above have more than 100 colors, except for the Blick markers which are limited to 96.
