How can you pencil sketch a person????
I want to know how to pencil sketch a person (full body) and make it look realistic. Any tips and websites?? And if you can give me more info about sketching and shading that would be fantastic. Thank you soo much!
Get some ‘how to’ books out of the library-not too advanced as they start going into anatomy and get extremely complex. Have a look at different peoples approaches. Think about what style you like-very precise and tight like an Escher, passionate and delicate like Ingres, masterful as a Rodin? Go to your local Art Gallery. Nothing beats seeing the real thing-photos on a website get nowhere near. Get paper you love the feel and look of, and get a range of pencils, hard and soft. Take digital pictures of people and convert them to black and white to study the tones and shadows. I could go on, but…there is no qiuck answer
