Adobe Illustrator??
I scanned a black and white image and opened it in illustrator. I’m trying to create anchor points in the image without tracing the whole thing. When you type letters in Illustrator you are able to right click and choose “create outlines” for those letters. This is basically what I am looking to do with the image. I know it is possible, because I remember doing it in class years ago, but I know it’s more complex with an image than text… Can anyone help??
I’m working with Illustrator 10 which I assume is outdated now. If there is a “live trace” option in my version, I can’t seem to find it…
I’m assuming that when you say “without tracing the whole thing” you mean manually adding anchor points. If that is the case, just select your image and click “live trace”. You can adjust settings to suit your needs from there.
